SUMMARY:Christmas Honors Event/Laying of the Wreaths
DESCRIPTION:Christmas Honors Event/Laying of the Wreaths\nSchedule:\n8:00 AM – 10: 30 AM Family Time\nPlease respect this time to allow the families of our heroes to lay wreaths on their loved one’s headstones. \n11:00 AM Ceremony at the Pavilion\nImmediately following the ceremony\, attendees will be asked to lay wreaths on all remaining headstones. Please do not start to lay wreaths until the ceremony is complete. \n11:30 AM Public Distribution of the Wreaths\nPlease place one wreath per headstone. Lean the wreath at a 60 degree angle on the front side of the headstone. If the spouse also served\, then place a wreath on their side as well. Please do not place wreaths on spouses who did not served as we do not have enough wreaths to honor the veterans if we double up headstones. \nParking:\nParking is available at the Fort Smith Convention Center or the Bakery District across from the Fort Smith National Cemetery. \nSpace is very limited within the cemetery. On event day\, there will be a thousand or more people walking the grounds\, making it even more difficult for traffic to flow. If you are physically able to walk\, we ask that you do not park in the cemetery. Please park across the street and walk to the cemetery. \nHandicap Parking Pass/Disabled/Elderly\nIf you have a handicapped parking pass or are with an elderly/disabled individual who is unable to walk\, we invite you to park in the cemetery. \nWe want everyone to be able to enjoy the day and ask that we each do our part to be considerate of others. \n  \nContributing Sponsors:\nAmerican Red Cross Fort Smith\, Annidale Sound\, AOG\, Asset Management\, Coca-Cola Fort Smith\, DCS Radio\, First Western Insurance\, Glidewell Distributing\, Marriott Courtyard\, McDonalds\, Movemart Relocation\, Phillip H. SUMMARY:Wreath Storage
DESCRIPTION:Wreath Storage\nWreath Storage – 8:00 AM – Until Complete (normally 1:00pm – 2: 00 pm )\nFort Smith Convention Center \nFood/drinks will be provided. \nPrepare wreaths for storage. Wet wreaths will not only rust/ruin the wreaths/bows but will also destroy the storage boxes. It is very costly to have to replace these materials\, therefore we are making a continued effort to protect the wreaths for the upcoming years. \nParking:\nParking is available at the Fort Smith Convention Center. Please park in the lot between the Marriot Hotel and Convention Center.  See Parking Page for Map. \nContributing Sponsors:\nAmerican Red Cross Fort Smith\, Annidale Sound\, AOG\, Asset Management\, Coca-Cola Fort Smith\, DCS Radio\, First Western Insurance\, Glidewell Distributing\, Marriott Courtyard\, McDonalds\, Movemart Relocation\, Phillip H.
